You are (really) never alone.

hi! How are you?! I really hope you are doing okay! If you are not, please don’t stop trusting in God and keep being patient. All will be well very soon:))

How am I doing? I am alright actually. I have been busy with school and extra-curriculars as always. I am just very glad that you are here reading this blogpost today;)

Let’s move on to today’s pretty interesting post..

A lot of times, maybe very frequently, there is thought that sneaks its way into our heads and it sometimes lingers in there for a while.

And that thought is, “I am (so) alone”.

“I have no one with me”. “I am all by myself in this world”. “No one cares for me”. “No one cares about me”. “I am just so alone”.

All different variations of the “I am so alone” thought just come to our heads especially at times when we are not feeling our best. At times when things aren’t just going well or maybe it could come when everything is going so well and all of a sudden, you are pushed into this deep dark hole trying to confront this thought and trying to fight it.

Whatever the case, however it comes to you, I just want to tell you that you really are never alone. It might seem so hard to believe but it is true. I mean there other 6,999,999,999 people around you, so yeah, technically you are not alone in this world. Right?(this is all jokes by the way).

Being on TikTok for a while has also helped me to understand that I am really, and also you, are not alone. Let me explain myself. So, you are going through something and you feel like you are the only one going through this thing or that you wouldn’t survive from this problem or whatever but then, you go on TikTok and you see someone else going through that same exact thing you are going through. This helps you to see and understand that in that particular problem you are never alone and this really applies to so many other things.

Like they always say, “there’s nothing you are going through in this life that someone else hasn’t gone through” and another one, “there’s nothing new under the sun”. So yeah in regards to this, whatever you are going through or thinking to yourself, you are not alone and never alone because someone has either gone through it or someone is going through it right now like you are.

It’s an interesting thought or perspective but that’s not the point of this post though.

I want to tell you that you are never alone because you always have Christ with you. You always have him by your side even when things look and feel extremely bad.

It is so easy to forget that we have God when things are not going well for us and when we are in some type of problem or issue. It is so easy to forget to keep trusting God when things aren’t looking good. It is so easy to forget that you are not alone in this walk; in these bad times, in these challenging times.

There’s one Bible verse that comes to mind while writing this. It is Deuteronomy 31 vs 6. It says,” Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.” Let’s break it down.

Be strong and courageous: Do not fear, do not worry, do not tremble, do not be scared, be bold, be strong..

Do not be afraid or terrified because of them: What is that problem or that issue or that thing that’s causing you to worry? Don’t be afraid because of them! Don’t let them scare you!

For the Lord your God goes with you: The Lord your God is with you, He stays with you, He is going with you, He is by your side, He is holding your hand!

He will never leave you nor forsake you: “Never” is the key word here! God will NEVER leave you. He will NEVER abandon you. He will NEVER leave you to be alone all by yourself. He is with you and He sticks with you.

This Bible verse is a powerful one. From it and so many other verses in the Bible, you see and understand that you are really never alone because God is always by your side. He never leaves you to be by yourself.

So, there is no need to fret and fight yourself and let yourself be dragged down a deep dark hole struggling with these “You are alone” thoughts because you are not and never will be. You are God’s child and His beloved and He loves you deeply, so you have to always trust that you are never alone, no matter the situation.

So say to yourself everyday and repeat to yourself everyday that you are not alone. That you will always have God by your side. That no matter what you’re going through, you have God by your side. Say it and say it to yourself and let yourself believe it because it’s true!

So, that’s it for this post. Thank you for reading! I pray that God will help us to see and realize that we are never alone in Jesus name. Amen!

byee people!

*don’t forget that God loves you forever and that no matter how much this thought comes into your head, you are never alone and you are never going to be alone.

I am soo stuck, tired, and exhausted..| Midnight struggles..

Hi y’all! How are you doing? I really hope you are doing alright:) If you really are not doing okay right now or you feel so lost and tired, I just want to tell you to please try to keep your head up! Sometimes, life just doesn’t feel great but I want you to tryyyy and keep moving and just please remember that no matter what’s happening to you currently, you will be fine eventually; even when it doesn’t feel like you’ll be fine, you’ll be, I promise and that’s because God says so! Please keep going🤍

So how am I doing? I guess from the title, you already kinda know how I am doing. Yeah, life is not going so great for me right now. I am just so all over, everywhere and I honestly don’t know how I really feel. I guess I just kinda feel lost somewhat but I am living. I am really trying to keep my head up and I am just going because I know that God definitely got me, so I will be alright!

Alright, let’s move onnn..

You know, today I was just thinking of how people see me from the outside. From what people tell me, and have told me, people see me as “perfect” from the outside. Like they think I am so hardworking, smart, intelligent, diligent, focused, and many more good stuff. This just feels so freaking weird because it’s like whyyyyyy and howwwwww? I literally don’t get it. Like, why do they think I am that person..

Honestly, I just lied to y’all! I actually get it. I get why they view me as that kind of person; it’s because that’s how I project myself to the outside world.

Heyyy, pause a minute! I am smart, intelligent, and so much more! Just wanted to get that straight!”

As I was saying, I mean, I don’t want people to see the ugly and dirty because just like every human, I guess I am scared of vulnerability. I don’t just want to expose myself to everyone, you know. I don’t want them to see the person behind all the “perfection” or “inspiration” they all see. I don’t want to open myself, I’d rather be in secret- this is not a good habit, by the way.

I have realized that we all do this. Literally everyone! We don’t like showing people the vulnerable parts of us and believe it or not but this is mostly because of fear. We are really scared of different things and this fear we have holds us back whenever we want to show people that we are also struggling. I don’t even know whether to call this normal because it’s not normal, it’s just what we have turned to normal. This is the reality, y’all:(

For real, I am not doing alright. I have been so tired, so lost, and just so done. There, I said it! I just broke my fear of vulnerability(woww moment!!!!) Anyway, I have just been thinking about the future a lot; my future actually and things are not going so well in my head right now. The funny thing is that, I don’t even know the source of my tiredness and exhaustion, I just don’t even know..

You know that feeling of not knowing how you feel, that’s kinda me right now.. Also, when I was planning to write this post, I was so gingered because I knew what I was going to write but I started writing and everything just flew away from head. So, I am not even sure if this blogpost makes any sense at all but hopefully it does.

One more thing.. Although, I am feeling like this, I am really really trying to keep holding onto God because I know that no matter what, He’s got my back and will always do because He is a great God. God is so good, y’all. Like every time I just feel so down, God tells me that I should remember that He says in His Word that He’s got me forever. Fam, God is so amazing! No matter what you are going through right now, please remember that God promised to never leave his beloved(YOU) alone, so He is with you always and you have to always remember that!

Before I go, I need to share this Bible verse with y’all.

Isiah 41 vs 10, says, “So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand”

Please always remember that verse and always read it to yourself every time so that it really sinks in. God loves you!! That’s all for today!

Remember, our help comes from God! So, no matter what you’re going through, you’ll be okay!

Um, also I have kinda been struggling with consistency, hence why I have not been posting regularly but I am working to get back on my grind. Thank you still for always reading. God bless you!

Love you all always🤗🤗

The silent whimpers and the deafening prayers of my motherland.. |Africa is bleeding..

Hi y’all! How’re you doing?? I hope you’re taking care of yourself?? I hope you’re keeping up with your mental health?? I hope you’re being kind to your health and to yourself??

Hmm. For me, too much has being going on. It’s a lot of crazyyyy stuff but like I always say, God is in control and He’s definitely not asleep. Today’s post is a very real post and I wrote this from the depths of the little left of my heart. Let’s just dive in!

Africa is going through so much right now. Well, not exactly every African country but a lot of countries are really going through it right now. So many people are dying and they are being treated like dangerous and wild animals. People are being shot like animals being shot for sport. People are leaving their homes and they are not returning home. People are saying farewell not knowing that it’s their last. People are crying and they are bleeding, metaphorically and literally.

If you don’t know what’s going on

There are thousands of very brave, strong, and courageous people going out to protest. There are people risking their lives to contribute to the betterment of Africa. There are also people doing their bit on social media, trying to spread awareness and use their voices to spread the news, to loud our cries. Everyone is doing their part in this fight to improve the quality of life of Africans.

Honestly, it’s very infuriating that we are still fighting for our lives and our sanity in the year, 2020. More than 30 years after the independence of many African countries. Now, I better understand when people say that, “it’s not how far but how well”.

The whole craze of the way the government rules in most African countries is already being shown all over the world. With so many people from international countries lending their voices and their platforms to this fight. We all now realize that it’s no longer Africans’ fight but it’s all our fight. Really, what joy exactly is living if more than half of humanity are struggling to survive?? What joy is life if more than half of humanity don’t know what it’s like to live a life where you don’t have to keep a gun or a weapon by your bedside every night?

Like every wise person has said, “we can achieve so much more when we work together”. For everyone who is not African, this is now your fight. You really shouldn’t sit comfortably in your homes knowing that your brothers and sisters that life has given you are dying. Though, you have to keep up with your mental health and take breaks when you need, you can’t keep being mute. Please you can’t! If you keep being mute, what people would you have when you need to show diversity? What people would you use to prove that you’re not racist?? What people would you use to show that you’re nice and that you do charity work a lot?? The reality of most whites or non-Africans is being challenged here and I’m sorry to trigger you but we have to accept the harshness of reality.

We always say that life is very unfair but should you really say that when life has become a matter of living or dying. Get up and talk! Speak and let our voices rise up to the heavens. Let our hearts sing to the heavens. Let’s stop whimpering and let’s start screaming. Let’s amplify our voices because together we are one. Let our prayers not cease and let it continue to ring out loud.

I think it’s very important for me to mention here, that we shouldn’t be attacking people for not talking about everything that’s going on(on that note, I really hope no one feels attacked by the previous paragraphs, it’s all unfiltered truth). For some people, all of these stuff is really really hard to process and some other people also have some sort of trauma they’re already dealing with. We don’t know everyone’s situation, so please be very kind with your words and actions. All I’m saying is that if you can, use your voice because every voice is needed.

Moving on, the harshness of our reality extends to the acceptance of people who are very care-free about the deaths of thousands. Those who turn blind eye to the sore image of a person’s brain scattered all over the floor. Those who are in positions of power sitting comfortably in their homes watching the havoc they caused by themselves. Those who insist that this fight is not their fight. Yes, it is very angering and frustrating but we need to accept it. We need not close our eyes, close our hearts, and let curses ring from the bottom of our souls. We need not take judgment into our own hands. Instead, let God do the judging and punishing, let’s just sit back and watch the evil ones get repaid with the actions they took stupidly. Let’s keep talking but close our eyes and walk past the evil and corrupt ones. Let’s keep being peaceful in our fight and let’s work on amplifying our voices.

This is the beginning of a new era. Although it’s heartbreaking that many heroes had to surrender their lives for this fight, I can smell victory because it’s not far away. Let’s rest for today and get back on our toes tomorrow. Let’s refill ourselves today and let’s get ready to be drained tomorrow. This fight has started because God has a reason for everything. This time, victory is definitely ours.

Lest I forget, mental health is still extremely important. From experience, I know how draining all of this can be. I know how tiring it can be. So please please, even though things aren’t really looking great currently, still pay close attention to your mental health. Also, try to stay away from social media some days because the news on there can be extremely overwhelming. Please make sure that you don’t lose yourself amidst all that’s happening. Please, I beg of you, take care of yourself. Please Please!

A quick prayer shared with me by someone during a prayer meeting I hosted. Father Lord, arise and fight for your people in Jesus name. Amen! Bye y’all 🤗🤗

A Bible verse to keep you going!

Love you all always❤️❤️

The importance of consulting God in decision making

Hi y’all! How are you doing? I really hope everything is going well with y’all. For me, I have been doing a lot of thinking; trying to understand a lot of things and get things in order. I have also been focused on school, trying to do amazingly well this school year. So, I am doing pretty fine, all thanks to God. Anyway, let’s get into today’s post.

Today’s topic is something I’ve been thinking about a lot. God has also shown me a couple of things regarding this topic. I’m pretty excited to share my thoughts and all the things shared with me with you guys. So, just keep reading!

We all know that decision making is an important part of life. Every action we take in this life is the result of a decision we make. The decisions we make determine how our lives will turn out. They determine whether we would achieve our God given purpose in this life or not. In all, decision making is a pretty big deal.

Due to the importance of decision making, it’s essential to consult God before making any decisions. God knows everything; He knows what’s going to happen before it really happens, so it’s best to ask Him first before we do anything. It’s only God that would help you to make the right decisions and do what’s right for you.

The Bible in Jeremiah 1 vs 5, says that God knew us even before we entered our mother’s womb. He knows what our lives will look like. He knows which steps are the right ones for us to take. He knows which decisions will make us and the ones that will destroy us. There’s a reason why God is called Omniscience God! It’s because He knows everything. So, why are we not talking to Him? Why are we not going to Him first? Why are we not consulting Him first?

The first mistake a lot of us make before we even make decisions is not asking God first. Most of us seem to forget that we have God for us. God who is willing to help us at anytime. God who tells us in Matthew 7 vs 7 that we should ask and we shall receive. If we just ask Him for help, He’ll surely give it to us because a father doesn’t ignore His children. God loves us and He wants us to know it. He’s going to always be there for us and He wants us to know it. So what are you waiting for? Why aren’t you acknowledging your Helper?

In all, I just want y’all to realize that the first and most important thing before we make any decision is to ask God for help. It really doesn’t matter how little you think that decision is. It can be what you want to eat or what you should wear. Anything at all!! God doesn’t mind, so why are you scared and afraid? God is a loving God, so you don’t need to be scared or afraid to go to Him in prayer for all your needs and your questions.

I just pray that God helps us to see that He truly wants us to come to Him and ask Him for help in Jesus name. Amen! That’s all for today y’all. If you have any question or thoughts about today’s post, you can just drop a comment. Bye y’all!

Please obey this verse. Don’t depend only on your own understanding, ask God for help and trust Him to help you to do the right thing.

Why is trusting God so important?

Hello. Good morning/Good afternoon/Good evening/Good night(Just go with whichever works for you) I hope you have all had a nice week so far. If you did not have a really nice week, do not worry, there are better days coming for you and just trust that God is in charge and know that He didn’t forget you. Anyway, let’s get into today’s topic. Yayy!!(It felt so weird typing this because it felt like I was a cheerleader holding a pompom-I already told y’all that i have a weird sense of humor) Just keep reading:)

What exactly is Trust?

So, according to Google, “trusting someone means that you think they are reliable, you have confidence in them and you feel safe with them physically and emotionally”. A very simple definition of trust is having firm belief in someone or something. When you trust someone, you are able to rely on them for literally everything, and you have so much confidence in them. You do not doubt them at all because of the very very firm and strong belief you have in them. Also, as seen in the definition at the beginning, when you trust someone, you feel very safe with them because you know that no matter what, they are your person and they will take care of you. To be honest, it is really hard to trust people these days because everyone has their own character and behavior but they are still some pretty trustworthy people out there.

What does the Bible say about Trust?

Just in case you are not aware of what the Bible is, the Bible is a Holy book for Christians. Anyway, in the Bible, there are so many places where trusting God is mentioned and the Bible also mentions what we get from trusting God(ps..when something is mentioned severally in the Bible, it means that it’s very important..) I am just going to choose two Bible verses that talk about trust and then explain to y’all. The first Bible verse is

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,
whose confidence is in him.
They will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit.” Jeremiah 17 vs 7-8(NIV)
. This bible verse emphasizes on what happens to people who trust in God. Trusting in God brings you a lot of blessings and it puts you in a good place, meaning that you do not worry about anything. When you rely on God and have confidence in what He is able to do, then you are secured for life. You literally have nothing to worry about because you already know that God has your back.

The second Bible verse is Isiah 26 vs 3(NLT)-

“You will keep in perfect peace
    all who trust in you,
all whose thoughts are fixed on you!”
This verse speaks on peace. It tells us that if we trust in God, He is going to bring peace into our lives. In case y’all do not understand, a peaceful mind and life is what everybody wants and is hoping for. You get that peace just by trusting in God and relying on God. You get peace of mind/ a peaceful life by having confidence in God and all His promises according to the Bible. When you have peace, you do not worry about anything, everything is going well for you and you have a great life, all these you get by putting your trust in Jesus Christ!

What I have noticed is that even for a lot of people who say they are Christians, they still do not have trust in God. They still doubt God’s powers whenever they are going through something or need something. They still do not have confidence in God and His being. A lot of people do not know this but the problem of a lot of Christians is having trust in God. A lot of people pray without trust in God and they expect their prayers to be answered when they do not have firm belief in God and are veryyyyy doubtful about God answering their prayers. How can you be doubtful about God and then ask Him for something in prayer?? I am very sure we do not ask our friends or anybody for something when we do not know or are not sure that they will do it. We only go to people we rely on to do things for us, DO THAT WITH GOD!!

In short, we all need to do better with trusting God. The thing is that God sees everything that is happening to you, He sees everything you are going through, He just wants to see that you believe that He knows about your situation. He just wants to see how much confident you are about Him coming through for you and helping you out. Trusting in God is very very important and that is what God needs from you. We all need to stop expecting things from God when we do not even have firm belief in Him, His powers, and His promises. Just stop doubting God and put full trust in Him.*drops mic* Bye🤗🤗
