Life isn’t always about winning | learn to accept your failures..

Hi y’all!! How’re you doing ? I really hope you’re fine. If you’re not, please remember that there’s always light at the end of a tunnel. Also, you can reach out to me and we’ll talk about it🤗

Alright, so how am I doing? I’m doing really okay, although I’m a little bit frustrated because my “girlfriend” is going through so much stuff right now and she’s not letting me in. I totally understand but I can’t help my worrying. Okay okay, TMI already, let’s get into today’s post.

So, today I just want to motivate you and provide you with comfort. So hopefully after reading today’s post, you feel motivated, gingered, and comforted.

So, one thing about so many people(maybe all of us) is that we expect to win at everything all the time. Not gonna lie, this used to be me before but I’ve learned now and I want y’all to learn as well. I’m sure you’ve heard that life’s all about ups and downs so many times before. Yeah but we don’t acknowledge it. We fail to understand that life was not designed for us to be winners all the time. In fact, life was designed for us to fail so many times. Believe or not, it’s so true🙃

From every failure comes a lesson. It’s now up to us to acknowledge it. Don’t get me wrong, please always be optimistic and be very positive in every situation but you still need to always prepare yourself for the worst and that’s where we all fail at. We forget that we’re not always winners and that’s completely okay. No matter what kind of life you live, you’ll have good times and bad times. We really all need to do better with acknowledging this.

Don’t blind your eyes and ignore the fact that something won’t always go as you expect. There are sometimes when we are extremely positive and we have so much faith in God and things will still go wrong. Trust me, this is God telling you that it’s not yet time, Him telling you that keep trusting me, I have a plan. Yes, God wants you to win always but God will also throw some failures in your way because He knows His plans for you and God knows best!

A lot of us are always so devastated when we experience failures and this is because we don’t prepare ourselves for it. See, once you accept and acknowledge the fact that life isn’t all about winning, you gain more insight into God’s plan for your life and you also react better to failure(s). Sometimes failure comes and it destroys us all because we aren’t prepared for it. When you are prepared to accept failure, because it’s a part of life, the damage of the failure won’t really affect you that much. Yes, it’s true.

Moral of my story is that we should all learn to accept the fact that we will experience some failures in this life and honestly these failures might not be representative of you as a person, they might be all part of God’s plans for your life. Experiencing failure doesn’t mean you’re a failure yourself, it just means that you’re human. What you now do is learn from that failure and let it motivate you and push you to always try to be the best version of yourself:)

One more thing, sometimes we plan and prepare so much for an amazing outcome but we are greeted with failure. This feeling has got to be one of the worst things in the world. Yea!! but don’t let your failure determine who you are and what you’re worth. Learn to accept that not every time would you be met with a good outcome. Once you learn to accept that failures are a part of life, you would be a stronger person with a growth mindset and you’ll be blessed with strength to face your worst days and all the bad outcomes of your life.

Whenever you face failures, always be very kind to yourself. Your failure doesn’t mean you’re a failure. Please still treat yourself with kindness, no matter what!!

So, someone said this to me , “But you know uncertainties still confront you even when you try to believe God can surpass your fears” Yes, those failures will bring you down and break you down, and it’s completely okay to grieve and even break down but that’s where FAITH comes in. This is where your faith is tested and it’s where your faith in God has to be very strong. So on days when your failures or uncertainties drag you down, your faith will drag you back up. That’s the amazing thing about living a life with God. He gives you strength when you’re weak and He fills you with hope. God is good y’all!!

That’s it for today. I hope you were comforted and motivated. I also pray that God will fill you with hope and give you strength to face any failures and the grace to get back up from your failures in Jesus name. Amen!!

The importance of consulting God in decision making

Hi y’all! How are you doing? I really hope everything is going well with y’all. For me, I have been doing a lot of thinking; trying to understand a lot of things and get things in order. I have also been focused on school, trying to do amazingly well this school year. So, I am doing pretty fine, all thanks to God. Anyway, let’s get into today’s post.

Today’s topic is something I’ve been thinking about a lot. God has also shown me a couple of things regarding this topic. I’m pretty excited to share my thoughts and all the things shared with me with you guys. So, just keep reading!

We all know that decision making is an important part of life. Every action we take in this life is the result of a decision we make. The decisions we make determine how our lives will turn out. They determine whether we would achieve our God given purpose in this life or not. In all, decision making is a pretty big deal.

Due to the importance of decision making, it’s essential to consult God before making any decisions. God knows everything; He knows what’s going to happen before it really happens, so it’s best to ask Him first before we do anything. It’s only God that would help you to make the right decisions and do what’s right for you.

The Bible in Jeremiah 1 vs 5, says that God knew us even before we entered our mother’s womb. He knows what our lives will look like. He knows which steps are the right ones for us to take. He knows which decisions will make us and the ones that will destroy us. There’s a reason why God is called Omniscience God! It’s because He knows everything. So, why are we not talking to Him? Why are we not going to Him first? Why are we not consulting Him first?

The first mistake a lot of us make before we even make decisions is not asking God first. Most of us seem to forget that we have God for us. God who is willing to help us at anytime. God who tells us in Matthew 7 vs 7 that we should ask and we shall receive. If we just ask Him for help, He’ll surely give it to us because a father doesn’t ignore His children. God loves us and He wants us to know it. He’s going to always be there for us and He wants us to know it. So what are you waiting for? Why aren’t you acknowledging your Helper?

In all, I just want y’all to realize that the first and most important thing before we make any decision is to ask God for help. It really doesn’t matter how little you think that decision is. It can be what you want to eat or what you should wear. Anything at all!! God doesn’t mind, so why are you scared and afraid? God is a loving God, so you don’t need to be scared or afraid to go to Him in prayer for all your needs and your questions.

I just pray that God helps us to see that He truly wants us to come to Him and ask Him for help in Jesus name. Amen! That’s all for today y’all. If you have any question or thoughts about today’s post, you can just drop a comment. Bye y’all!

Please obey this verse. Don’t depend only on your own understanding, ask God for help and trust Him to help you to do the right thing.

Why is trusting God so important?

Hello. Good morning/Good afternoon/Good evening/Good night(Just go with whichever works for you) I hope you have all had a nice week so far. If you did not have a really nice week, do not worry, there are better days coming for you and just trust that God is in charge and know that He didn’t forget you. Anyway, let’s get into today’s topic. Yayy!!(It felt so weird typing this because it felt like I was a cheerleader holding a pompom-I already told y’all that i have a weird sense of humor) Just keep reading:)

What exactly is Trust?

So, according to Google, “trusting someone means that you think they are reliable, you have confidence in them and you feel safe with them physically and emotionally”. A very simple definition of trust is having firm belief in someone or something. When you trust someone, you are able to rely on them for literally everything, and you have so much confidence in them. You do not doubt them at all because of the very very firm and strong belief you have in them. Also, as seen in the definition at the beginning, when you trust someone, you feel very safe with them because you know that no matter what, they are your person and they will take care of you. To be honest, it is really hard to trust people these days because everyone has their own character and behavior but they are still some pretty trustworthy people out there.

What does the Bible say about Trust?

Just in case you are not aware of what the Bible is, the Bible is a Holy book for Christians. Anyway, in the Bible, there are so many places where trusting God is mentioned and the Bible also mentions what we get from trusting God(ps..when something is mentioned severally in the Bible, it means that it’s very important..) I am just going to choose two Bible verses that talk about trust and then explain to y’all. The first Bible verse is

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,
whose confidence is in him.
They will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit.” Jeremiah 17 vs 7-8(NIV)
. This bible verse emphasizes on what happens to people who trust in God. Trusting in God brings you a lot of blessings and it puts you in a good place, meaning that you do not worry about anything. When you rely on God and have confidence in what He is able to do, then you are secured for life. You literally have nothing to worry about because you already know that God has your back.

The second Bible verse is Isiah 26 vs 3(NLT)-

“You will keep in perfect peace
    all who trust in you,
all whose thoughts are fixed on you!”
This verse speaks on peace. It tells us that if we trust in God, He is going to bring peace into our lives. In case y’all do not understand, a peaceful mind and life is what everybody wants and is hoping for. You get that peace just by trusting in God and relying on God. You get peace of mind/ a peaceful life by having confidence in God and all His promises according to the Bible. When you have peace, you do not worry about anything, everything is going well for you and you have a great life, all these you get by putting your trust in Jesus Christ!

What I have noticed is that even for a lot of people who say they are Christians, they still do not have trust in God. They still doubt God’s powers whenever they are going through something or need something. They still do not have confidence in God and His being. A lot of people do not know this but the problem of a lot of Christians is having trust in God. A lot of people pray without trust in God and they expect their prayers to be answered when they do not have firm belief in God and are veryyyyy doubtful about God answering their prayers. How can you be doubtful about God and then ask Him for something in prayer?? I am very sure we do not ask our friends or anybody for something when we do not know or are not sure that they will do it. We only go to people we rely on to do things for us, DO THAT WITH GOD!!

In short, we all need to do better with trusting God. The thing is that God sees everything that is happening to you, He sees everything you are going through, He just wants to see that you believe that He knows about your situation. He just wants to see how much confident you are about Him coming through for you and helping you out. Trusting in God is very very important and that is what God needs from you. We all need to stop expecting things from God when we do not even have firm belief in Him, His powers, and His promises. Just stop doubting God and put full trust in Him.*drops mic* Bye🤗🤗
